Maryland Art Place

The Maryland Art Place web site is sponsored by the Maryland State Arts Council. Their Resource Bulletin lists hundreds of educational and exhibition opportunities and is distributed to over 3,000 regional artists, individuals, and organizations throughout the region. Click here to access their on-line version of the Bulletin, we do not attempt to list all the calls for show entries that the MAP bulletin has.

The Maryland Art Place annually shows twelve to fifteen exhibitions featuring artwork in all media of both emerging and established artists in the mid-Atlantic region. The work is selected by independent curators and MAP staff from open calls for submission, MAP's Artist Registry, and by invitation. In addition, MAP presents exhibitions at other sites throughout the region through traveling exhibitions and temporary projects.
